Florida citrus patriarch grows 100 acres of groves in Sorrento
The Lent family story traces over 53 acres recently planted and more than 100 acres of groves in Sorrento. From early days of picking and washing fruit to sending three children to college, the patriarch and his wife guided a family citrus venture. Their brood includes A V Lent and daughters Mrs J W Moore and Mrs J S Hern, with eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Lucy Lent, his Virginia born daughter in law, shares pioneer pride as Florida agriculture expands.
