FSU Singers Charm Mount Dora Audiences On Florida Tour
Sixty students from the University Singers of Florida State University performed for more than 500 people at Mount Dora's Community Building. The concert supported the Kiwanis Underprivileged Children’s fund and featured Randall Thompson, Rubenstein, Czechoslovak folk songs, and pianist Hugh McGarity. Director Wiley Housewright highlighted the group as singing emissaries of goodwill.
