The piece explains WPA relief labor limits delaying gym construction. It notes cement block walls, ground-made blocks, 4200 sacks of cement, 600 yards sand, 150 yards rock, 20000 gallons water, producing 40000 blocks for 700 feet of wall. It contrasts 44 hours per month relief labor with prior 48 hours per week.
