Arthur E. Limerick Jr. of Mount was killed when his car struck an Atlantic Coast Line train in dense fog. The car jammed under a boxcar requiring two hours to remove. A railroad employee and a second motorist witnessed the crash. Limerick served as a deputy to Sheriff W. B. Gibson and is survived by his widow Priscilla, a son, and his parents from DeLand.
