Holiday visitors fill Mount Dora with family reunions
Mount Dora welcomes Pearl Acree and family for a long winter visit with plans for downtown shopping and holiday gatherings. Incoming guests include C.8 Dugaard and children from Miami, plus several couples from Illinois Ohio and Michigan visiting or planning to build homes in Sylvan Shores. A winter scene of guests, weddings, and social events follows through year end.

The Eustis Garden Club will host a Wednesday 3 p.m. meeting at the Woman's club to discuss Christmas flower arrangements with guests from Lakes and Hills Garden Club of Mount Dora. Members shared a history of arrangements and reports from the Iida Federation meeting in Sanford.
