Mr and Mrs J K Garriott celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on December 20 after winters in Mount Dora since 1952. The Social Club held its annual Christmas party for 61 guests on December 19 at the Community Building. Betty Shaw earned her Bachelor of Science in Social Welfare at Tallahassee, with wedding bells planned for December 30. Mary Lou Davis returned from Stetson University on December 16 and will visit Los Angeles before rejoining Stetson on January 2. Azalea Circle of the Lakes and Hills Garden Club hosted its Christmas luncheon on December 16 with a tree donated by Food Fair and decorations by Mrs Paul Johnson’s committee.
