Mrs. Jean Cook secretary of the Mount Dora Chamber of Commerce starts a chamber newsletter to inform members and interested people about chamber activities. The newsletter will be mailed to civic clubs information writers new residents and chamber members.

Willard Peebles and Ray L Amoreaux of the State Road Department will attend the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council meeting on December ll at the First National Bank in Mount Dora. Peebles will outline state highway planning methods and L Amoreaux will present the proposed 16 year State Road Program based on those needs. This marks the first presentation of the results to this region and will let the state and council compare notes.
The City Council of Mount Dora Florida invites bids on one 1969 four door sedan police car. Bids due by 8 00 P M Tuesday December 17 1968 and opened at the regular council meeting that evening.
