Florida tourism to rise with Merchants and Miners tours
C M Haile of Merchants and Miners Transport Co says Florida will see a stronger winter tourist season. Ships from Boston Philadelphia and Baltimore have carried more passengers to Florida than last year with some sailings nearly full in Jacksonville and Miami. He attributes the surge to lower fares and modest business gains. The line will again offer All-Expense Tours to Florida this winter.
