W. F. Moon Dies After Long Illness in Lake County
W F Moon died after months of ill health at age forty eight in Lake County. Born in Shelby County Alabama in 1878 he moved to Florida as a youth settling in Tampa where he learned carpentry and married. He later worked as a contractor around Mount Dora and was active in the Knights of Pythias and Woodmen Lodge. Funeral services will be at the Methodist Church Friday at eleven with Knights of Pythias at the grave. interment Forest Cemetery.
