Mount Dora postponed housing meeting amid tense boycott

Mount Dora Community Chapel Undertakes Major Remodel

Rev. Van Clay announces extensive upgrades to the Mount Dora church building. Plans include outside steeple and eight new 24 by eight inch faux stained glass windows, inside new pews carpets and indirect lighting, plus a central air system installed last week. About 30 members are volunteering, with women cooking and delivering meals. Work began two weeks ago and should finish in about three weeks, with some furniture arriving in November.
