Two Drivers and Passenger Hospitalized After Wreck on 441
James Casselberry driver for an Orlando bread distributor is in fair condition after eye removal surgery from a two truck wreck on highway 441 north of Mount Dora early Tuesday. C C Stevenson of Sorrento and Charles Spangenberg of Orlando sustained bruises and minor cuts and are in Waterman Memorial Hospital. Stevenson stopped in the median to pick up Spangenberg then pulled back into traffic and hit Casselberry’s truck causing it to overturn. Spangenberg’s vehicle crossed the median into the eastbound lane. Stevenson will be charged with making an improper start from a stopped position.

Mount Dora will repave nearly a mile of central streets in 38 blocks where sewers are being installed.
