Easter on Mount Dora Stirs Small Town Mood
Floridora Easter brings a peaceful scene in Mount Dora with church services and a near ghost town feel. A Saturday Easter Egg Hunt at Lake Tem’s Golden Triangle drew about 200 prize eggs in under 15 minutes. merchants revived the event after last year’s lapse. The town buzzes with band practice and a budding middle school orchestra, while the Recreation Department plans a full week of programs through next Sunday and considers local movie nights again. The Topic invites signed letters to the editor to strengthen community voices.
