Record regatta drew large crowd at Mount Dora sailing event
About 200 skippers expected for the 22nd annual Mount Dora regatta with as many as 225 boats anticipated over two days April 5 and 6. Hobie 12 and Musketeer classes may join the lineup, Hobie 16 expected to be largest class. The Fowler Trophy will honor the top female skipper in the fourth race. Races run on a three mile triangular course in front of the Mount Dora Yacht Club.
