Shuffling Year Ends as Mount Dora Club Sees Exits
The Mount Dora shuffleboard year closes with 222 members as several key players depart for northern interests. State and All State tournaments in St. Cloud and Lakeland drew attendees though no local reps. Mrs Walcott of Tampa won the Cup. Members leaving include Mr and Mrs Les Purdy for Michigan and others heading to Illinois Ohio Connecticut and New Hampshire. Mr Schuckert plans hospital care in Detroit before returning to Caro Michigan.
