Jasper Wildcats defense anchors Big 8 title bid at Legends Field
Jasper enters Friday’s game at Riverview Stadium with a 5-1 record and sole possession of first in the Big 8, thanks to a stifling defense that has held opponents to double-digit scoring all season. Cornerback Grant Theil, a 6'2" senior with two interceptions and an Air Force offer, headlines a versatile unit supported by linebacker Tate Blessinger. Sophomore Justin Pershon leads Jasper’s offense at quarterback, while receivers and tight ends add a potential passing threat.
