Red Cross Urges Blood Donations During Liver Awareness Month
Red Cross says blood supplies are sufficient but urges regular donations from healthy people. Blood types C A B and AB are in high demand. Liver transplants total over 6,000 yearly and can require 30 units of blood per procedure.
