Takeda to Move U S Headquarters to Boston After Shire Deal

Takeda says it will close its Deerfield Illinois headquarters affecting about 1000 employees and move functions to the Boston area after completing its $64 billion takeover of Ireland based Shire. A closure date is not set and staff will be informed within six months of deal completion.
