Bellmont Community Celebrates Albion 200th Birthday Festivities
Albion marked its 200th birthday with a weekend festival on the square featuring Doug Stromatt and a band, venders, fresh cider, chowder, a sorghum festival demonstration, an accordionist from Indiana, kids activities, a parade of food stalls, and a big family gathering. Church and community events followed with services, revivals, and a theater production set for Oct 25 28. Notable fundraisers include Jaxon’s CancerBracelet sales and WRAC Fall Festival on Nov 3 at Mt. Carmel 4-H Center. Soccering through the community, readers are reminded to save plastic bags for Lancaster Christian School and to consider small acts of love daily.
