Mount Carmel police report multiple domestic and theft arrests

Mount Carmel police arrested David A. Pierce 55 for domestic battery after an alleged choking during a dispute at a residence on West 3rd Street. He is at Wabash County Jail awaiting bond. Additional arrests include Gary Bugher 48 for impersonation and methamphetamine possession, April Malicoat 40 for DUI and paraphernalia, and Alaine Keepes 26 for theft after removing a neighbor’s table.

13th Street Closure and Local Events Briefs

13th Street between Chestnut and Market will close to traffic from 8:30 a.m. Nov. 19 until further notice for construction.
