Girl Hit by Car on Walnut Street in Mount Carmel
Police responded to the 900 block of N Walnut Street at 3 37 p m Oct 3. Silvia A Miller age 4 was found on the ground after being struck by a vehicle driven by Brenda F Win die of Mount Carmel. She was transported to Wabash General Hospital with non life threatening injuries. No citation was issued.

WEMA crew assisted Clay County in a pond search for a lost firearm and may bill for the service. The board approved surplusing a donated boat trailer. Real estate tax receipts show $7,078,983.49 collected, 67 percent of the first installment. second installment due December 4.
