Aces Football Opens 2016 Camp At Mount Carmel
Mount Carmel's Golden Aces launched the 2016 season buildup with an early preseason camp focusing on installing offense and defense, integrating freshmen, and evaluating quarterback options after Pete Smith’s graduation. Veteran Daxton Peach and freshman Aiden Gill split quarterback reps while seniors Jake Hocking and Zach Whittler pace receivers. Coaches emphasized technique and depth with a new, evolving front on defense and a large incoming freshman class, led by Elijah and Elliot Laws. The Aces host Harrisburg on August 26 at 7:00 p.m. to open the campaign.
