Ruritan Club Focuses On Local Quality Of Life Mission
National President Guy Cox visited Allendale and Mount Carmel to learn about Ruritan Club initiatives. Linda Cox selected homeless students as the flagship issue based on the McKinney Vento Act, with local clubs packing backpacks providing clothing, toiletries, and support for students from preschool to college while safeguarding their identities. Scholarships are offered through college partnerships, and the 90 year old Holland Virginia origin club promotes the motto sharing is caring.
