Seventh graders boost Mount Carmel to state win over Benton
Mount Carmel seventh graders edged Benton 42 35 at Bend Lake College to advance in the SIJ II SA State Tournament. McKenna Golden led with 22 points and Maya Smith added key late layup and free throws as Rylie Webb contributed 2 points 8 rebounds 4 steals. The Aces face Collinsville at Rend Lake on Tuesday at 6 00 p.m.
