Mount Carmel resident Jordan L. Sayge, 34, led deputies on a high speed chase reaching 110 mph after being found asleep at the wheel near N 1400 Blvd. Wabash County Sheriffs Office and Mount Carmel Police pursued him for 11 minutes to Keensburg. He was charged with Aggravated Fleeing or Eluding a Peace Officer and cited for improper parking and held pending bond.

Hardiman pleads not guilty in Mt Carmel home invasion case
Gary Milone said Hardiman 24 of Princeton Indiana entered a not guilty plea and waived speedy trial rights at arraignment Feb 8. Trial is set for 9 a.m. June 6 with pretrial dates in May and April. Four counts of home invasion stem from the Sept 21 2015 incident at 713 N Mulberry St involving four victims. Co-defendants Griesemer and Chavis also were arrested in connection with the case.
