Walter Payton Award shines on and off field across NFL
The Walter Payton Man of the Year award recognizes players for community service and character beyond football. Charles Tillman, 2013 winner, stresses the award honors deeds done weekly, not just athletic achievement. Finalists from all 32 NFL teams will be noted at NFL Honors before Super Bowl week, with 2018 finalists wearing helmet decals.
