Motor Fuel Funds to be released to county Mount Carmel
County officials in Wabash and Edwards Counties expect Motor Fuel Tax funds to be released after Senate Bill 2039 cleared the legislature and was signed into law by the governor. At the Monday meeting, resolutions set the road maintenance budget and the Engineer’s salary funded from MFT. Robie Thompson was elected Chairman of the County Board. Treasurer Beverly McBride noted real estate tax installments. $9,893,000 collected so far. Gary Brooks announced a FEMA grant application for $45,000 for a new vehicle.
