Body found in shallow grave near Creasey's Chapel Va
The partially decomposed body of a woman was found Tuesday about 300 yards from route 644 in Patrick County Virginia, near Grover Beasley property. She was described as 5'8" tall, 136 pounds, around 20 years old, with jewelry on neck and fingers. State medical examiner in Roanoke to determine ID and cause of death. Mount Airy police believe she may be a missing local resident.

Landmark Pilot Mountain Park to be named National Natural Landmark
