She died Sunday at Northern Barry Hospital after living in Stanty County born to William C and Adele Hathcock Russell. Survived by son James R Bray and two daughters in Mount Airy. two brothers Tom H Russell and D Russell. two sisters Mrs apes of Greens hore and Mrs Wallace Joyce of Winston Salem. Burial in Oakdale Cemetery. Body rests at home.

Cat search underway after Epperson bitten by stray

Boyd's Lee Is Amputated
Jobe Edward Johnny Boyd 42 of Mount Airy was injured in a truck crash about three weeks earlier and underwent amputation of his left leg at Baptist Hospital. The driver was pinned in the wreckage near the Little Dan River after the truck fell from Highway 109. Rescue squads and officials worked hours to free him as he was treated for pain with a sedative.
