Escapee Nabbed In Area Tuesday
Deputies spotted a stolen car west of Mount Airy on NC 2 Tuesday. The car fled toward Pilot Mountain, where Patrolman Buck Edwards arrested 78 year old John Wade Wilson. Wilson had escaped from Taylorsville prison on July 22 and faced charges including escape and auto larceny. Two youths were with him but not charged.
