Fred Bunker Sentenced Two Years For Faked $20 Bill
Fred M. Bunker, 58, was sentenced to two years in federal custody after pleading guilty to an attempt charge for using a trained bulldog distraction while attempting to pass a mutilated $20 bill in Norfolk Virginia. Miles Wagoner 69 a National Furniture Factory employee died Tuesday morning at his home on Factory street. He was twice married and survived by two wives Lula Davis Taylor and Sallie Welch. He left three children from the first marriage and one son from the second, two brothers and ten grandchildren with eleven great grandchildren. Technical Sergeant Eldridge W. Amburn Jr. of Mount Airy North Carolina earned the Air Medal for meritorious achievement as an engineer on a B 24 Liberator. He completed six bombing missions over Germany and enemy territory while with the 453rd Bomb Group of the Second Bombardment Division based at an English liberator station.
