Old Soldiers Celebrate Jefferson Davis Centenary
Seventy seven veterans gathered at the Graded School to mark the centennial of Jefferson Davis birth. The event featured a Davis portrait presentation by J. R. Paddison, an E. S. Sheppe address, a performance of The Veteran's Parade, and Crosses of Honor awarded to five men. Daughters of the Confederacy hosted a dinner for attendees.
