Floating Shower Honoring Miss Vickie Axsom in White Plains
Miss Vickie Axsom was honored at a Saturday evening floating bridal shower from seven to ten in the White Plains Community Building. Attended by about 75 guests, the event featured lavender and white decorations, a lavender mum corsage, and gifts on a miniature bride table. The couple plans to wed July at two in the afternoon at White Plains Baptist Church, with a lavender and white wedding motif continuing into the decor and refreshments. Members of Mount Airy Chapter No. 18 of the Order of the Eastern Star attended the 67th Annual Session in Charlotte, including several named officers and past matrons serving in various roles.
