Elkin June 10 Last Sunday morning at 4 o clock the Hanes roller mills at State Road were destroyed by fire. Four hundred bushels of corn seventy five bushels of wheat and a quantity of flour and feed were burned. Loss about fifteen thousand dollars with six thousand dollars insured. Fire started in the boiler room and the wooden mill burned rapidly.
