Ida Bell Hill Dies in Dobson at 76
Mrs Ida Bell Hill 76 died Sunday evening at her Dobson Route 2 home. Born in Surry County December 13 1873 she was the daughter of Jesse and Dovie Fowler. Survived by husband Byrd Hill four sons Willie Ararat Wiley Dobson Oscar Dobson Route 2 Nash Mount Airy three daughters Mrs Sam Venable Mrs ecatha Parker Mrs Homer M Ararat and several grandchildren great grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Level Cross Church with Rev Wilson Nesbit officiating. burial followed in the church cemetery.

Stolen Jeep Found At Lover's Leap
A 1960 yellow Jeepster owned by George R. Callaway was found wrecked off the road at Lover's Leap Va. A couple sighted the vehicle Sunday after it disappeared Friday while Callaway was at work. The Jeep plunged about 800 feet into a stone wall, and was completely demolished.

Carolina Motor Club Set to Reopen for Licenses

Mrs. W. S. Wolfe of this city was injured Sunday when another vehicle forced her car off the road near Sanford. She and her husband were en route to Charlotte to visit their daughter Mrs. Guy Byerly Jr. She was taken to Sanford Hospital for treatment of a head injury and bruises, staying through Monday and returning home Tuesday.
