The property lines begin at Nichols corner and traverse Cave Line, Elkin road, and Draughn line to Cody Creek, with about 20 acres reserved for a freeman, dated May 14 1922 and signed by A D Folger, Trustee.

An 18 mile one way traffic system on the Mount Mitchell road near Asheville NC restricts morning ascending traffic and afternoon descending traffic to reduce danger. The route, originally a lumber railroad path, now a cinder surfaced drive with bridges, climbs 4410 feet with an 3 12 percent grade and includes a trailer car to ensure safe descent before opening gates.

Special Court For Shriners Promises Trial During Shrine Week
Washington officials unveil a temporary special court for Shriners charged with misdemeanors during Shrine week. Nineteen justices, 50 judge advocates, and 28 clerical staff will operate in the national guard armory with DC authorities approving arrests and transfers.
