First Presbyterian Church Radio Service on Sunday
The church will air a radio service with a 6 o’clock evening worship to fit the broadcast. The Pythians report a financially strong minstrel show run with a large audience. The program featured Mr. Morgan Stanley as master of ceremonies and a chorus of twenty five, with acts including "Dusky Stevedore" and "Mississippi Mud." A second act titled In Radioland showcased C W Andrew as MC at Mount Airy’s new night club with telegraphed congratulations from Florida and North Wilkesboro. The Mount Airy band supported both performances and the group thanks the public, advertisers, and volunteers while pledging an even bigger show next year.
