Baity Confesses to Shooting Yadkin Sheriff
Robah Baity admitted he shot and killed Sheriff J. F. Zachary of Yadkin County near Yadkinville on February 14 claiming an accidental shooting. He, along with Spencer McNeill and James Brown, was held without bond for the March 1 Yadkin Superior Court term. A large crowd attended the preliminary hearing as Dr. S. F. Harding and Rev. T. A.
