Akron Ohio February 7 The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company announced that starting March 15 the minimum wage for men employees will be 86 a day and for women workers 34 a day. The plan covers those with six months or more continuous employment and impacts between 25 000 and 30 000 workers. The company also raised hourly rates and piecework effective February 15 by up to 15 percent.
Paris Feb 7 The official list of those whose extradition is demanded by the allies was issued without comment. A bound check of over 26 pages lists 90 persons or groups with their ranks and duties. Four pages cover Pfeid Marshal von Hindenburg and General Ludendorf. Berlin Fri Feb 6 The Veesische Zeitung says the note with the list will be delivered tomorrow by M de Marcilly. Barer Kurt vom Larsner arrived in Berlin after resigning as head of the German peace delegation.
Buenos Aires reports Argentine cattle hides under strong worldwide demand as American buyers contract for hides and anticipate German purchases aided by resumed maritime traffic.
