Quesinberry Guilty on Two Driving Charges
P B Quesinberry, 26, of Mount Airy, found guilty in Recorders Court of driving intoxicated and driving with a revoked license. He was fined 900 dollars plus court costs and bound over to Superior court on a manslaughter charge for a January crash on the Fancy Gap Highway that killed a six year old Negro boy and injured the brother. Men Caught With Narcotics To Be Tried At Dobson Next Week
There were two fatalities when Billy Dickerson's pickup truck turned over on a curve on Highway 268 at Irk's Fish Lake about a mile and a half from Elkin shortly before 9 a.m. Monday. Killed were a red pig and a black pig. Dickerson, 20, of Mount Airy, route 6, suffered a sprained back and leg injuries. He was treated at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital and released. State Highway Patrolman D. J. Caudle, who investigated the accident, said Dickerson was traveling alone and was headed for Elkin with a load of pigs.
