Survived by son Roy and five daughters including Mrs Friel Vernon and Mrs Allyne Kingsbury. Funeral Tuesday at 2 p m Flower Gap Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Dink Taylor, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Taylor, Worth Street, is in critical condition at Baptist Hospital after a Highway 52 crash last Tuesday night. He has not regained consciousness. Ronald Lee Caviness, 20, Circle Drive, is reported in very satisfactory condition and walking. he is expected to go home this week.

10 Month Old Passes in Albemarle County
Elmer Dean Dellenback aged 10 months died late Saturday at home in Ararat Virginia. Born April 4 1955 in Patrick County he was the son of Charles and Thelma Dennis Dellenback. Forsyth School Teacher Charged After Highland Park Incident
Forsyth County teacher William Shropshire age 28 was arrested by Mount Airy police at 12 30 a m Sunday on assault with a deadly weapon and crime against nature charges. The accuser Robert Barneycastle 20 from Mount Airy said Shropshire picked him up while hitchhiking and made advances. Barneycastle jumped from the car near Weiner Burger and the driver allegedly tried to strike him. He provided the license plate to police and Shropshire was later found parked behind the post office. He was released on 1500 dollar bond.

Negro Charged With Arson Of Automobile Here
Mount Airy resident Allen Bowman aged 24 faced arson charges after a car fire early Sunday on the road to Bannertown. A witness said gas was leaking when Bowman allegedly threw a lit match into the gas, igniting the blaze. Bowman was released on 1300 bond.
