Mrs Julia A Brown of Covington Tennessee says her eighteen year suffering from nervous ailments improved after trying remedies prescribed by a doctor and various treatments. She claims relief came from the noted therapies and reports a speedy cure through these measures.
The Mulvane village near Wichita is stirred by disclosures at the thirty ninth wedding anniversary of Peter Wilson and wife. Foster parents Isaac Ashton and Robert Wilson were present and recounted family histories stretching to 1888 involving the Taylors of Richmond Indiana. Peter Wilson fainted upon hearing the tale and was revived. The couple has nine children two of whom are deaf and two deformed, with most already married.
In Havana 2063 smallpox cases and 467 in Guanpa say Pinar del Rio with 10 000 inhabitants. Yellow fever and malaria ravage the country as Cuba nears US shores increasing contagion risk. A white man killed from a moving train at Monroe Tuesday night.

The Washington Post reports on Dr Calver's plan to prevent premature burial through a morgue near cemeteries with glass walls and monitored coffins. He argues embalming fails and proposes preserved corpses in dry glass chambers or extended desiccation to keep bodies visible for years.
