Revival Ends as Sixty Nine Join Central Methodist Church
Evangelistic services at Central Methodist Church concluded after a week with sixty nine new members drawn in through professions of faith, baptisms, and transfers. The morning service dedicated fifty Sunday school children with parents and teachers taking vows to guide them, while the evening saw nine adults received by profession and baptism and ten by letter. Reverend A G Gibbs led two daily services, aided by J Dale Stentz as choir leader, with Miss Dorothy Creveling Frances Folger as organists and Mrs H O Waltz and Mrs T J Payne as pianists. Welman Child Narrow Escape From Car Collision
Four year old Welman Child, son of Rev and Mrs H M Wellman, narrowly escaped serious harm when struck by a car driven by Lovill Dean Sunday.
