School Notes From Bedford Page Two Jamboree Plans
Gale Singley reports on the second Friday activities with a list of students. The class studied Bedford Pennsylvania geography and planned a float for the Jamboree. Eighth graders, now nine boys and fourteen girls, settled into books and room décor after a rough start. Laurel White rejoined after surgery. The eighth grade club formed with officers Phillip Benge, Laurel White, Carol Ann Andrews, and Norma Olson. Sixth graders number seventeen, with new social studies and language books and traveling library additions. The room boasts a September border of oak leaves and squirrels and freshly hung curtains with house plants. The first assembly of the year was enjoyed.
