School Opens at Moulton Adell Community School

The Moulton Adell Community School opened on August 27 1969 with an assembly led by Supt Frenzen who highlighted building improvements and stressed student care. Principal M Morlan spoke about learning opportunities in a small school as students were assigned to home rooms and given books and supplies.

Improved Library at Moulton Udell School

Students return to a downstairs library space with new tables and 200 additional books being catalogued. Eleven students volunteer as librarians during a daily period, listing names and assigned periods.

A Century Old Link Between Moulton and Centerville

A long history of the Davis County New Hope Road from 1844 survey to 1960s widening is traced through surveys by Lewis V. Davis E D Skinner and J F Stratton. The route connected bee trace to New Hope crossing the Chariton River and on to Centerville with Mormon Trail markers and local farm routes noted.
