December Women’s Fellowship meets all day with potluck, and gifts are prepared for needy children. An Advent candle lighting service and special music are planned for the First Sunday in Advent followed by an evening BUZZ for 73 service at 7 90 pm. Time to renew membership is noted.
Thanksgiving activities center on families and friends across Centerville Kirksville Des Moines and nearby towns. Numerous households hosted meals at the Golden Eagle Bloomfield and other homes with extended relatives from Davenport Moberly Mexico Unionville Eldon Ottumwa Ankeny Muscatine and Madrid.
