Aged Pioneer Martha McLaughlin Dies at 82

Martha Caroline McLaughlin, aged 82, died at home Tuesday night May 26 after five months illness. Born near Moulton to Samuel and Elizabeth McLaughlin she lived at the family home with brother Albert. Survived by sister Mrs Henry Carter and brothers Albert and Samuel. Funeral Friday May 29 at Fairview church with Rev Orlando Ogden, burial nearby. Mrs Josie Strunk is ill on E Eighth Street.

Former Moulton pastor Rev A M Smith dead

Rev A M Smith of Moravia and former pastor of the Moulton Methodist church died suddenly at his Moravia home yesterday morning at age 75. He served at Moulton from 1910 to 1915 and retired in 1939 to live near his sons. He and his wife were active Christians. funeral plans were not set by press time.
