Hilltown Friday School Picnic At Sharon Bluffs Park
Hilltown Friday marked the last day of school at the James with a pic nic for teacher Kenneth Hatfield and pupils at Sharon Bluffs Park. Vivien Jean Stites the only 8th grader passed all exams and has missed only one day in eight years. Junior Stites attended the Junior-Senior banquet at Moulton Friday night with the Junior class and spent the night with Gerald Lindley. Families, relatives, and neighbors gathered Sunday at several homes including Walter Stevens near Belknap and M G Steens, with dinner guests at Bob Corder’s and visits from Drusilla Henderson, R E Stites family, and Carl Corder’s kin.
