Earl Stober hosted a Monterey caller Monday. Dale Krupt and Genald Dixon hosted supper Wednesday, with Leo Dixon visiting sister Genevia Krupt. June Smith visited Colleen Stober Sunday. Austin Bassett and Earl Stober with Colleen were in Bloomfield Saturday evening, as were Mr and Mrs Malhon Miller.

On May 11 1942 the District Court of Appanoose County Iowa appointed Hattie Gertrude Killion executrix of the estate of A P Killion deceased. Vacation Bible School runs May 25 to June 5 at The Churches Presbyterian with supplies ordered teachers secured and a goal to reach children without other access. Attendance invites all neighborhood children while maintaining church boundaries. Services and Bible teaching planned with Sunday school at 10 and worship at 11.
Public worship at 11. Junior and Senior Leagues meet at 7. Union service at the Christian church. Rev. Lester Strubhar to preach the baccalaureate sermon to Moulton High School Seniors. Services begin at eight.
