Visitors included Mrs. Davis Jackie, Mrs. Cowell, Mrs. Withrow, and Karla Mae. Stanley Moulton was six on February 17 but ill in hospital, and later home. Valentines were exchanged, sorted into sacks, and enjoyed at the party. Eddy Daley treated us with candy bars and Valentine candy. Mrs. Wright taught February 8–10, as Mrs. McCullough had the flu. First Grade Merrill Davis celebrated his seventh birthday at school. Visitors included Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Whisler, Mrs. Yates, and Mrs. McNair. We keep a March weather chart and look for signs of spring. We practice spelling names and our story-book friends. Art includes windmills, Dutch children, and tulips. -Mrs. Kirkpatrick
