Q Hearing Held Here Wednesday
A hearing before the Iowa Commerce Commission addressed replacing the Burlington agent at the local station with a custodian. J R Barkley argued that traffic through Moulton in the first five months matches all of 1943, showing the move is untimely. railroad lawyers argued a custodian could perform the work and that revenue is insufficient to maintain an agent. The commission will decide by July 15 after hearing evidence presented by J C Pryor for Burlington, Barkley, and unions.
